Trends for Fall Weddings and Other Parties

The next time you’re outside, be sure to sniff the air like a dog on the trail for food. It smells different, doesn’t it? The air is crisper, as if speckled with parts of earthy produce – a dash of pumpkin pie, a hint of mulled cider.

You know in your heart of hearts that fall is coming. Leaves will gracefully fall to the ground like slow snow. Soon, little kids will be dressed in costumes and ringing your doorbell demanding candy. We mean c’mon, kids have already gone back to school!

You had better prepare yourself for the fall, because it’ll be here before you know it.

Autumn outside

That means one thing: fall-themed weddings, as discussed in this Democrat & Chronicle article.

16007405_SPauleen Vacca writes, “Fall weddings are beautiful, just about anyone can contest to that.”

“But they are often chilly. If you’re having an outdoor ceremony or reception, a thoughtful gesture is to provide either blankets or scarves to your guests so that they are comfortable.”

Fall weddings aren’t for everyone, that’s for sure, but for those of us who crave the crispest time of the year, there’s nothing more romantic and scrumptious. This season, there are some cool trends that will take autumn weddings by storm, including substituting pies for cake, pumpkins along the aisle, candy apple bars, gourd escort cards, and more!

At Total Entertainment, we couldn’t be more excited for the fall, especially considering the trends that we might see at weddings and other parties.
